At the beginning of 2008 I graduated as a veterinarian in Utrecht, graduating trajectory horse.
After an internship at the horse clinic Wolvega, I wanted to learn more about the musculoskeletal system and the back and I started the education veterinary chiropractic in Germany (IAVC / IVCA).
I then started as a first-line veterinarian for horses and companion animals at the Enkhuizen veterinary clinic.
Because I really enjoyed chiropractic, I started working for myself as a chiropractor at the end of 2009.
In the years that followed I did refresher courses in applied kinesiology, part of the FES (focus on the equine spine), nutrition, connection sensor and the lecher antenna. In my work, the focus increasingly shifted to combining alternative therapies to solve problems that could not be diagnosed or treated normally.
At the moment I am following the veterinary acupuncture course of the Gervas in Germany.
Since no single therapy provides the solution for all animals, I think it is a very nice challenge to be able to combine all kinds of therapeutic options and thus find a solution for each individual horse to become as fit and happy as possible!
